Since Grace was almost 2 years old we’ve had a yearly tradition of doing themed Halloween costumes of her and our Godson. It’s the cutest seeing them ever since they were toddlers getting into character! They are seriously the most adorable!
Since we’re already in August and October is only 2 months away, I thought I would share some of the cute DIY costumes. I had to start with my fave, Little Lucy and Little Ricky! The kids looked so legit that we even looked for a classic car to complete the look. A local neighbor had his car parked in front of his home and we asked if the kids could take photos in front of it. It was the perfect touch! Aren’t the kids the cutest?! Can’t wait to post the other costumes on the blog!
For those interested in doing your own DIY Lucy costume for your little girl, I will list where I got everything at the bottom of this post.
I had to include some black & white images to make it classic, like the show!
Red wig is a Fancy Nancy wig that I customized to make look like a Lucille Ball wig. I got it at Party City: https://www.partycity.com/fancy-nancy-wig-793222.html
The dress I bought on Ebay for only like $10 but I couldn’t find another one like it to link. I did find a similar one on Amazon that I will link: Amazon
The apron actually came with a Little Red Riding Hood costume so I got to use it for this too, but you can find a similar one here: Apron on Amazon
