If you are looking to do your engagement session in the San Diego area, we really recommend Balboa Park. The greenery is pretty, but the architecture is absolutely beautiful!

We had so much fun photographing this engagement session and exploring all the hidden gems throughout the park. Balboa Park has so much variety, making it such a fun location for engagement photos. From the gorgeous Spanish inspired architecture and detailed buildings to the lush greenery, gardens, and beautiful pathways, there are endless spots to capture a variety of looks.

One of our favorite things about this location is that you can get completely different photos just by walking a few minutes in another direction. We love being able to explore with our couples and find those little unexpected spots that make their gallery feel unique to them. There is something so timeless about the architecture, and when paired with the greenery, it creates such a beautiful backdrop for engagement photos.

This session was especially fun because we got to capture a mix of romantic and candid moments while taking in everything Balboa Park has to offer. It was also fun to include their pup in some of their shots.
